NORTH SUBURBAN SERVICE LEARNING CONSORTIUM

The North Suburban Service Learning Consortium was developed in 2005 when several educators in the northern Illinois area gathered for a general Service Learning training session. It was determined that the voice and action of students from several schools and districts could achieve many more opportunities to enhance service learning by sharing ideas and collaboration on service learning activities.

In 2006, the North Suburban Service Learning Consortium (NSSLC) was formulated through Learn and Serve funding resources. Members of the consortium include students, staff and community agencies in northern Illinois.
